Where candor meets screen culture
Welcome to Ramifications, a candid, sarcastic, and reflective blog dissecting the iconic TV personalities who shaped my values and morals. Discover my commentary, video archives, and professional background.

Ramifications is an unapologetic exploration of life, values, and character development through the lens of broadcast media. I write reflective pieces about the television icons who built my moral framework, paired directly with YouTube clips. I hold up the mirror first to myself—candidly, sarcastically, and without excuses—showing potential employers and collaborators the sharp voice, dedication, and insight I bring to the table.
Due to having an unavailable mother, and a stereotypical traveling salesman for a father, I relied on outside role models. They influenced, inspired and molded my values and ethics.
Lynda Carter's iconic character of Wonder Woman was my first replacement mother. I enjoyed the episodes very much. Through them, Wonder Woman instilled the value of compassion and empathy, courage and bravery, truth and honesty, justice and equality, peace over violence, empowerment and self-confidence, leadership and responsibility, and hope and faith in humanity in this impressionable young man.
As with Star Trek, I literally grew up with Days of Our Lives. My first memory of Julie Horton was when her face was burned by a hot oven. As for the love of my life, Dr. Marlena Evans remember her first baby, a boy, dying from crib death. A first on daytime television.
Marlena was an awesome psychiatrist. So much insight! So much empathy! Because of her example and standards, I followed in her footsteps by becoming a psych major in college.
Star Trek fascinated my imagination since its debut on our TV screens. As I grew up and matured I realized that Trek was instilling it's values and mindsets into my pliable, questioning mind. To this day, Trek continues impacting my heart and soul.
Agent John Steed! The epitome of a true gentleman. He taught me to fight violence by using my wits. Words can hurt more than bullets when properly employed. When it comes to dressing, the style is in the details.
That women are to be honored and protected And to always leave them smiling.
I often sported a black bowler when jaunting across the campus quadrangle during my college freshman year.
Moonbase Alpha! My home away from home! Where to begin?
No imaginary world succeeded in integrating into my daily life. It also provided the opportunity for me to develop business skills. The International Space 1999 Alliance
https://fanlore.org/wiki/The_International_Space:_1999_Alliance
was founded with the goal of creating and executing an international letter writing campaign, exactly as the Trekkers did with their fandom.
I gratefully served as the Eastern US Representative for a number of years. In addition to the letter writing campaign, I was assigned one of the British guest stars. Handling their itenerary and keeping them in constant communication with the head of the Alliance. During the convention I was their bodyguard. The International Space 1999 Alliance, and the cons were an exciting world for this unorthodox teenager!
